Resolved Question: What do you think of these vacation spots west of the Mississippi River?

Seattle - rains almost all year long. Not worth the trip just to see the Space Needle and ride the Monorail. Mt. Rainer and the Pacific Ocean are half a day away. People are stuck up. San Francisco - expensive and other things... Southern California - smog, traffic, and horrible people. Las Vegas - Gambling is wasting your money. Grand Canyon - big hole in the desert Texas - "If I owned Hell and Texas, I'd live in Hell and rent out Texas." Mall of America - not worth the drive. It's just a mall. Mt. Rushmore - not worth the drive. Yellowstone - a pain to reach and bears. Rockies near Aspen, CO - the only truly desirable spot, but without rails on the roads it is dangerous. Alaska is just tundra and Hawaii is so not worth the long trip that it isn't even funny. There are plenty of beaches much closer for much less money.... Read More »
