John Joseph Kelley, of Aspen, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, in an avalanche that occurred near the Copper Creek Drainage, 16 miles from Aspen. Kelley was born in Denver on Jan. 1, 1950, to Tom and Agnes Kelley and was the second of eight children.
